Despite being the topper of his batch, Abhishek faced challenges in securing significant opportunities with big law firms in India. He was concerned if it was because of him not being from a Top NLU.
Solution
Abhishek joined the first batch of YLCC’s Holistic Development Growth Programme. During this program, he engaged in a six-week series of live classes that covered Internship Training, Interview Preparation, and Mental Health Wellbeing tailored for law students. Additionally, he benefited from three personalized One-on-One sessions with YLCC mentors. Through these interactions, the YLCC mentor guided him on how to enhance his application to compete with students from top NLUs.
Outcome
Abhishek’s proactive efforts paid off as he secured internships with HSA Advocates and L&L Partners. Ultimately, he excelled to the point of receiving a Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) from L&L Partners.
